Ensuring Your Chow Chow’s Well-Being

At  Chow Chow Companions, we prioritize the health and happiness of our puppies above all else. We stand behind the health and well-being of every Chow Chow we breed, ensuring they are in excellent health and free from infections or contagious diseases at the time of purchase. Our commitment to you extends far beyond the moment you bring your new puppy home; we consider ourselves your partners in providing the best care possible for your newest family member.

While we take every measure to ensure our puppies are in optimal health, we acknowledge that certain factors, such as genetics, exercise, nutrition, and overall care, contribute to a puppy’s well-being. While we cannot guarantee that your puppy will never encounter health issues, we promise to do everything in our power to ensure they are as healthy as possible.

Upon purchase, we certify the good health of your Chow Chow to the best of our knowledge. We provide documentation of all necessary vaccinations and deworming treatments administered, along with a vaccination record for your reference. After this point, the responsibility for additional vaccinations and booster shots falls to the buyer.

In the unfortunate event that your Chow Chow falls ill or is found to have a genetic defect, specific conditions must be met for a replacement to be considered. A licensed veterinarian must provide an official report confirming the genetic issue, accompanied by their contact information. In the case of a puppy’s passing, an autopsy performed by a licensed veterinarian is required to determine the cause of death, with documentation forwarded to us for review. We reserve the right to verify diagnoses with a veterinarian of our choice. Please note that expenses incurred, including return shipping and veterinary costs, are the responsibility of the buyer.
